1949 Chevrolet Truck , 1/2 Ton , Short Bed, California TruckUp for sale is our Chevy pickup truck, all original except the engine that was replaced with a chevy sbc 350 V8. Transmission is a 4 speed manual floor shift that has the low first gear, Clutch was replaced last year along with flywheel being resurfaced, All stock suspension in front and rear along with brakes just serviced. Clutch / Brake pedal is hanging style from dash and works well with no issues. All stock 6 lug on front and rear with stock 16" rims on new Coker tires that are just dirty in the pics. Truck runs and drives great all around town and on the highway. Will do 55 mph comfortably and stay with traffic just fine. Truck accelerates very quick and stock appearance but with solid V8 performance. Interior is all stock as shown in pics. All wiring is in good shape, lights / brake lights all work as they should. Interior dome light works, has upgraded 12 volt wiper system that works well in the rain. All gauges work in truck both on dash and mounted under dash also. Heater works well with on/off switch and also has a kill switch for entire truck. Truck is also wired with working trailer light hookups along with accessory back up light. Stock bench seat is comfortable and also has seat belts added for safety. Body is in great shape and has always been a California truck to my knowledge and previous paperwork that we have. Truck has no rust/ cancer anywhere, floors/cab corners/lower cowl on cab is all solid. Nice wood in the bed that appears to be newer stock oak wood strips that have been painted a while back. Truck comes with a ton of extra parts, most of the badges, extra 4 speed transmission, extra set of wheels, bumper guards, extra closed drive line rear end (complete ) and more.... Trailer is for sale also for $600.00 and is registered in California and come with a title. Trailer is the back half of a 50 chevy truck with stock frame rails and stock short bed.
