Selling due to retirement. This car was purchased new in Northern Calif. by an architect, maintained at European Autowerks, San Rafael. I bought it from that dealer in 2000 when it had 49,600 miles. I'm an English prof, and have only put about 1500 miles on the car per year since then--Sunday drives mostly while I lived in Calif. through 2013. Mileage this morning (7/9/2015) was 73,602. Regular maintenance, absolutely clean Carfax run 7/5/2015, no accidents ever, no racing. I took a new job in New York in 2013 and have never driven this car in snow, ice, or salty roads. Always garaged, never left outside without a car cover in the day and never outside overnight. Yes, I'm obsessive. Best part, I think, is that this car has never had any work and never needed any--all accessories work, air conditioning and heating are strong, original Porsche radio, CD, cassette (remember those?). 505 R17's in front, 555 R17's in back, alloy wheels unmarred, clean carpet and leather (both gray) throughout. One worn spot on side of driver's seat where I slide in. I own the car free and clear and it is registered/inspected in New York. Oil change (Mobil 1 "green" 0-40 oil) and both filters (small and large) professionally changed last week. Has original manuals. Plastic convertible window is crystal clear, convertible top is unflawed and strong (no weak or worn spots). Runs great, tracks straight as an arrow.
