1990 Mercedes 500SL convertible in good condition with a very low reserve price. Ivory exterior and brown leather interior. New OEM soft convertible top added in 2014. Only a few minor flaws on the interior - there are loose threads in the passenger seat seam and a very small tear in the leather behind one of the seats. The power adjustment for the seat belt height doesn't work (it's stuck in the highest position). Everything else in the seats and all other power equipment works great. Cold A/C, great radio. Also includes the hard top and a rolling storage rack. The paint on the hard top is a little uneven, but no significant rust or scratches. I'm the third owner and have owned it for about two and a half years. The prior owner did a lot of work updating the mechanicals and it has been very reliable. While I have owned it I installed a new soft convertible top, repaired the power radio antenna and replaced the suspension mounts. I have used it as my weekend car, so it gets light but regular use. I have to sell it because I no longer have room for it. I have the original vehicle manual, some of the service records, one regular key and one valet key (no remote entry fobs). I also have the front license plate that was never installed (no rack in front). This auction is for local pickup in Dana Point, California. I will be happy to ship it at buyer's expense based upon a service of your choice. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, taxes, transfer and title fees. I will deliver the title and a current smog certificate. It is available for inspection if you contact me. I will accept payment by cash or cashiers check. Buyer agrees to provide photo ID and proof of address so that I can properly file a release of liability with the state.
