1970 Porsche 911 T Targa like 1983 SC Nice!!!Time to thin the collection and start cleaning out the garage. I purchased this car with good intentions of restoring it back to it's original state. Sorry to say the reality is I will never get to doing the project so rather then let it sit I'm going to pass it on. The car is a 1970 Porsche 911 T Targa and it is rust free. Sometime in the 80's like a lot of these cars it had a makeover, It looks like an early 80's SC. The car has the original 2.2 and 4 speed gearbox. The car has been in storage for a few years but is overall road ready. I cleaned the fuel tank, checked out the brakes and put new tires on it. It does run and drive well. The body is very Straight and rust free. The rear flares are steel and installed very nice. The paint has a little wear but overall very nice. The interior has some wear but is decent. It has the chain tensioner update and an aftermarket exhaust. The 16" Fuch's wheels are nice and have brand new Dunlops on them. The motor leaks a few drops of oil here and there but pretty normal for these cars. I have been driving the car for the last few weeks and it drives very well. The speedometer isn't working. I haven't had time to look at it but I'm sure its an east fix. The car is a great driver as is or you could restore it back to a 1970.
