Their report states: 1) the Jeep was involved in a rear end collision 2) the Jeep was towed I am attaching the actual police report from the accident scene investigator. The officers report clearly and correctly states that the Jeep was pulling a trailer and it was the trailer that was hit, NOT the Jeep (a 16 year old girl ran into the back of my jet ski trailer and broke the tail light lens). The accident report also correctly states that both vehicles were removed from the scene by their drivers, NOT towed. Carfax is a joke and they obviously do not read the accident reports before publishing lies and deceit, you might even call that fraud. Carfax also counts lenders/banks that hold title during an installment loan as an owner, so Carfax reports 4 owners on this vehicle, when there are actually 2.
