This is a very solid and hard to find 1966 Ford Country Squire 10 passenger station wagon! This is an easy project car, it will take very little to get it road worthy! The car is showing 28K miles, I believe them to be actual but have no way to prove this. I have had the car for about three years now and don’t have the extra time to finish it! The car is heavily optioned, starting with the Z code 4bbl 390 engine, automatic trans. power steering, power brakes, and factory A/C! It is still wearing its original white paint and original blue interior! The interior is very nice, the upholstery and door panels are excellent, and part of the original clear plastic seat cover is still on the rear seat! All the interior needs are front carpet, headliner, and a dash pad! This car has the dual center facing rear seats that look like new when opened! All doors and windows operate perfectly; the dual action tailgate still operates as it should! The body of this old wagon is great! The only rust in the car is both doglegs in front of the rear wheels and the lower LR quarter. The rest of the car is solid as a rock, the frame and floors are perfect! These cars are notorious for frame rust, this one is great. The fiberglass wood trim is all there and in good shape, the chrome is nice and all the tinted glass is good! I bought the car with no engine, I installed an original 66 390 from damaged Country Squire that I had. The engine runs great it has 30k miles on a complete rebuild! I painted the engine the correct ford blue when it was installed. I have driven the car around the yard only; the transmission seems to shift well. The car will need a complete exhaust and the gas tank repaired to make it road worthy, it will also need new tires. The car can be driven onto a trailer but it is not drivable on the road! It can be run with a gallon jug; the gas tank has a small hole in it. The hood hinges are not installed in the pictures; I will install them before the car leaves. I have the idler pulley for the A/C but do not have the original compressor; it was not with the car when I purchased it. Other than that the car is 100 percent complete! This is a nice looking car that with very little work can be driven as is, or easily restored to show condition! These wagons are hard to find in decent shape and have become very popular! I have tried to give an accurate description of the vehicle, if you have any questions please ask. If you need more pictures I will get them. There is a reasonable reserve set on this auction. I have a clear VA title in my name that will be delivered to the new owner upon receipt of clear payment. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours, the balance in 5 days, sorry no-exceptions. This car is not drivable and needs to be removed within two weeks unless prior arrangements have been made, I will work with the new owner as best as I can.
