this is a extremely well maintained car. full service record, unmarked, original paint, no dents, almost pristine I purchased this Car May 2012 on Ebay while still overseas, Assay Auto in Orem, Utah. prior to shipping I had the Car locally inspected, issues to be fixed where front seal, power steering leak, window switch. Capp's European Auto, Orem Utah . than had it shipped to Texas, great service Company out of Oregon. there are no leaks, hydromantic suspension, Motor, Transmission, Power Top Hydraulics I only used the Car for a few month of the year while over in the US. the Power Top Computer has been refurbish [BBA Randon, Tounton MA, with a lifetime warranty] due the Car being jump started while I left it for storage, lock up. [been told a no- no] 2 years ago, Fan Clutch started to fail, and while attending to it, Mechanic pointed out the Water Pump Bearings, where questionable, for the sake of a few hundred $, had the WP, also replaced the Radiator. complete Spark wire harness, Plugs, this was done by German Kraft Auto, Bastrop, TX. had the seats recovered, MB Leather. front Tires new 06 2014, rear 11 2013 cosmetically, one could replace the Sun Visors, the Wind Deflector has a ca 2 in, slit [???] some hairline cracks in the wood venire Console, Radio volume a bit touchy, turning the V C slowly, it's ok service out in CA does the repair for $65.00, ref to ebay. refurbished Tonneau Lift Cyl have just been installed. so it has 144k mil, this Engine will do over 300k, statement by MB, this Engine had the best Record as to Warranty work. there is a Video on Youtube , 'Harry's Garage' also a Mercedes issued Video, American Collectors Insurance will cover the Car for less than $ 400.00 per anum, subject to Drivers History, [not driven as a daily car]. ok for Shows or Special Events, Functions. this covers Liability, Comprehensive and Collision I can not import the Car to Australia, what I had planed, unless reside in the US for a min of 12 month. [they changed it from 6 month] ironically, some shady Dealers can Import Cars under a so called 'Low Volume Imports', mostly Japan, UK, sell a bunch off, and when too many warranty claims, shut down. I am presently looking at a 1988 560SL.[ cut off date for unrestricted imports of SH Cars is Dec 1988] this would be a great car for some one to enjoy, I certainly have, and for many years to come. thank you for your interest.
