Vehicle Detail
1981 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham for sale, last year of the full-size rear-drive Bonneville. Harvest gold with tan vinyl top and peanut butter leather. 5-digit odometer shows 61,xxx miles, but it more than likely has 161,xxx miles. 307 V-8 with automatic overdrive. The car is originally from Las Vegas. The previous owner told me it was kept inside most of its life, which explains the cars remarkably nice paint and interior. When cleaning the trunk out, I found the original build sheet showing it was built at the Fairfax plant in KCK! This is included in the sale along with the owners manual and factory GM service manual set.The good:Starts, runs, shifts, drives, and stops perfectCheck engine light is NOT on, and yes the bulb works4 matched tires with deep treadZERO rust ANYWHERE... Was a Las Vegas car until last yearVinyl roof like is like newDashboard has NO cracksOld-school 'rolling numbers' clock on the dash works and keeps good timeOriginal Delco stereo works and sounds greatLeather interior in nice shape, almost perfect except for some wear on the drivers seatNew shocks, radiator, hoses, coolant, fuel filter and belts in the last yearFresh oil change and air filter in the last monthThe not so good:Headliner sags, but has been pinned upDrivers power seat does not move back or forthBlower fan doesn't work. I replaced the motor, but it still doesn't workDrivers side window needs a regulator, but still moves up and down with some assistanceHeater core is bypassed, I assume it leaksThis isn't a show car, but a really nice driver that can be enjoyed just as it is now, or restored to your liking. There are a lot of Caprices and Cadillacs out there, but when was the last time you saw one of these? Every time I drive it, it turns heads and gets thumbs up. I'm only selling because I'm running out of space and need to make some room, and I don't want it sitting outside. The Bonnie is also for sale locally. I have a clear Oklahoma Title in my name, ready to be transferred. And of course the fine print... Please ask any and all questions BEFORE the end of the sale. Bidders with less than 5 feedback, contact me before you bid to verify interest, or your bid will be cancelled. Also if you have multiple bid retractions, please save us both some time and don't bid. I will not ship, but can assist with loading for the shipper of your choice. Obviously the car will be paid in full before it leaves my possession. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding!
