Up for bid is this very special "5 speed manual" 1989 Volvo 780 "Bertone". These cars were hand crafted in Torino Italy by Carrozzeria Bertone for Volvo in 1985-1991, on the showroom floor they sticker priced at over $40000.00 when the last few cars sold. Bertone assembled just 8518 total cars through the 6 year run. This was Volvo's "Flagship" car during those years and is the last coachbuilt Volvo. Every option was included on these cars, butter smooth handcrafted Italian leather seating, Italian Beech Burl real wood trim, glass electric sunroof, heated power seats on both sides, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, automatic climate control, Bosch Anti-Lock 4 wheel disc brakes, Independent rear differential (89-91), Volvo's strong safe body cage structure, and alot more cool stuff. This car was owned by a rich enthusiast who had a Portland Oregon area professional IPD Tuner install a 5 speed manual gearbox and side exhaust!! (Bertone's all came with automatic transmissions).
