1962 Mercedes Benz 190sl (Relisted Due to Non-Responsive Bidder) Recently discovered on a multi-acre residence, we had to chop down trees, move cars and call in a tow truck and flatbed to recover this fantastic 190sl! I've included pictures of the find and recovery in the Picassa Slideshow, below. Needless to say, days and finds like this are every enthusiasts dream! From what we gathered, the 190sl was parked in 1979, upon the passing of the owner. There she sat, with the keys still in the ignition, until last week. Mostly complete, soft-top missing, and unmolested project. The majority of project 190sl are stripped of parts, long disassembled restoration projects, etc. This 190sl has been waiting patiently to be found and restored! I consider this an excellent 190sl for restoration to a driver or concurs level show car.
