Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice 63 Riviera. Daily driver. It came from the southwestern USA & is rust free. Has a rebuilt 401 engine and rebuilt automatic trans. Numbers on the engine block match the numbers on the firewall. The body has been repainted, not a stock color. I have updated the sound system, radio,cd player, speakers in the rear deck, sirius xm, I have the original radio. I have installed VDO temperature and oil pressure gauges, the idiot lights in the dash still work as does the fuel gauge and wipers. I have replaced the midship bearing on the driveshaft and installed an optima 12 volt battery. This model has the big finned aluminum brake drums. The carpet, seats, headliner have been redone. The car is loaded with options, power windows, seat, steering, auto headlight dimmer, tilt wheel. The bumpers have been rechromed and the bumper jack is in the trunk as is the spare tire. Now I will give you a list of things that need attention. The AC is all there but is not working. Cruse control, power antenna, not working. The power vent widows have a couple teeth missing on the drive gears, I have new gears included. The dash has a few splits i assume from the hot southwest sun. The passenger side front seat has a very small tear on the side. The headliner has a small hole near the edge on the drivers side. Rear seal on the transmisson leaks a little. ---- That is about as good as I can describe this car, it is a pleasure to drive, sounds great with dual exhaust, and is powerful. A big beautiful 2 door. ----I have documents supporting the engine and trans rebuild and i found the build sheet still under the pass- seat in rough shape but i did not expect to see that.
