Wow!!! Solid Florida 1983 Benz convertible, located in the State of FLORIDA---BUT CAN TRNSPORT/SHIP/DELIVER TO YOU. I bought it 3 years ago for my fun "summer camp" toy. Now I have a 8 year old and a 12 year old anD NO time to play … besides I just got a mini van – eeeeek! Ah well! I had it for sale earlier this summer for $7950 but I don’t want to store it for another year … so the first $4950.00 gets it!! That’s right … ONLY $4950.00 Only used one month in the last 3 years but fired right up and drove great. Had $1500 exhaust work done 2 years ago. The rubber “hanger hooks” need to be replaced. NEVER driven in snow – it’s usually stored from August through June and only used in July for the last three years. Has Black soft top that looks like new – the plastic window is clear, not fogged like most. Top has very small tear on the right rear bottom … easily fixed and barely noticeable. Is good and solid inside trunk area … see video. Very solid and nice under tire storage area as well as battery area, headlight area, and rocker panels. All are known problem areas on “northern SL’s” but not on the “southern” SL’s and this one is in nice shape. Runs great but does have a few areas that need some TLS (i.e. right window sticks, radio, fan fuse, etc.). The interior is in great shape for the year. Normal problem areas on doors, dash looks great. Seats and carpet are in great shape. The wood trim on the shifter needs wood laminate. This ‘Benz is a 1983 Convertible but has the NICE look with upgraded marker light. . For the money it is a GREAT buy!! TRADES-INS ..........
