Here is my wife's 2000 V70 which has been her daily driver since Feb 2012. She has put 26000 miles on it and it's still going strong at 146000 miles. It has a few dings and scuffs: no surprise on a 15 year old car but it has plenty of life yet. The bad points are listed and shown in the pictures. The front left indicator lens has a crack.The front rear wheel arch has a ding which has a bit of rust.The driver seat seam has burst.Glove box catch handle broken.A couple of small punctures at the back / top of front passenger seat. On the plus side; The oil has been changed regularly using Mobil 1.The transmission has been flushed with Mobil ATF3309.The ABS module has been changed for a refurbed unit from Mid West ABS.The power steering fluid, brake fluid and coolant have been flushed and refilled with the correct fluids.It has 2 brand new front tires. Here is what's been done during my wife's ownership. 5 Feb 2012 120737 miles Oil change. Mobil 1 5/30 6 quarts & Mahle OX149D filter, O ring & new crush washer. ATF drain. 3.75 quarts Mobil ATF 3309. 9 Feb 2012 120902 miles ATF drain 3.5 quarts then flushed with 9.5 quarts Mobil ATF 3309 via oil cooler top hose. 13 Feb 2012 120960 miles Replaced air filter. Mann C35148. 29 Mar 2012 121190 miles Changed cabin air filter. Genuine Volvo spare part. 14 Oct 2012 124520 miles Oil change 6 quarts Mobil 1 5w/30. Mahle OX149D filter, O ring & crush washer. 29 Jan 2013 125870 miles Drain & flush power steering fluid. 2 litres Pentosin CHF-11S. 24 Feb 2013 126088 miles Flushed brake fluid. 1 litre ATE Super Blue dot 4. 30 Mar 2013 126505 miles Replace inner & outer steering tie rods & boots. Steering aligned at Town Fair Tire. 25 May 2013 128025 miles Oil change 6 quarts Mobil 1 5w/30. Mahle OX149D filter, O ring & crush washer. 4 Aug 2013 129500 miles Changed spark plugs Bosch Replaced air filter. Mann C35148. 17 Nov 2013 132500 miles Bosch ICON 21A windscreen wipers 26 Nov 2013 132680 miles Replaced small evap J tube 01 Dec 2013 132716 miles Pumped out & refilled power steering reservoir fluid. 1/2 litre Pentosin CHF-11S. Drained coolant & flushed with 4 gallons distilled water. Refilled with Zerex G-05 diluted 50% with distilled water. 08 Dec 2013 133263 miles Oil change 6 quarts Mobil 1 5w/30.
