Hello, I am selling my fun 1973 Thing. I had this car restored for my daughter but she never really drove it so it was locked away in storage this past winter. This is a real head turner, and a very fun car for the summer and warm weather. The whole car was repainted last year. The engine is a 1600cc Volksvagen which is plenty of power for this little thing. The engine was rebuilt 3,000 miles ago. It is a regular 4 speed transmission which shifts very smoothly. The convertible soft top is brand new and the seats are in very good condition. No rips or holes or anything. The rear lights do not work. Not really sure why but it could be something as little as the light bulbs. The side windows are in need of the plastic, but that never really bothered us since we either drove without them or with the top down. It has the Tiki mats which adds a nice summer style to the car.
