SOLID SOUTHERN SHORT BED TRUCK….PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!! 1977 FORD F-100 CUSTOM SHORT BED Truck sold new in Adamsville, Tennessee at the Pettigrew Ford Dealership (Still wears the dealer rear bumper). It has been in Adamsville/Savannah Tennessee its whole life!! 1977 Ford F100 Custom in good condition. Truck has the original 6 cyl engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Engine runs good, and transmission shifts well. Odometer shows 58,198 miles (I would assume its 158,198). It also has cab lights and 2 green grill lights, they all work and wired into the headlight switch. Body is in good shape – it has been repainted at some point. Body mounts and Cab Corners are in good shape. Bed is solid with minor surface rust (see photos). The only concern on the body is the top section of the passenger rear quarter, it looks like someone did not finish blocking the area (see photo), uneven surface. Nothing major to repair, the rest of the quarter is straight and solid. There are small dents, scratches, chips and other blemishes on the truck. There is a area showing filler on the front drivers corner of the hood. There are a few areas showing the beginning of rust spots. Truck has a good shine to it for a driver quality paint job. Interior is in pretty good shape. There is not a dash pad and the original seat has been replaced by bucket seats, the driver seat is 6-way electric that works. Front Windshield has 2 stone chips in it; the rest of glass is in good condition. Truck was built at Louisville, Kentucky and factory color is Raven Black. The undercarriage is in good, clean shape. This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck that needs little body work and little mechanical work. Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures.
