For sale is a 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible with a 302 4V "J code" engine with a C4 automatic transmission. Built at the San Jose plant. This is 1 of 3,339 because it originally came with deluxe interior (Body Style 76B). Factory AC, PS, PB. This car runs, drives, stops, and has current tags. It has been garage kept since at least 1983 (maybe it's whole life) This would be considered a daily driver. Rust free body. The engine and C4 transmission have been rebuilt and they have less than 1,000 miles on it. The engine rebuild included a new Edlebrock aluminium intake along with a 600CFM Edlebrock Carb. New alternator and power steering pump. Currently has the factory AC compressor installed with all of the hoses and accumulator(just needs to be hooked up and serviced). The blower for the AC does work with the switch. The following has been replaced with brand new parts: Fuel tank and hard fuel lines, Radiator, Brake Rotors and calipers on front and wheel cylinders on the rear, Master cylinder and Brake booster, Full front suspension from PST performance with new upper and lower control arms, Rear air adjustable shocks, New dash. The convertible top frame is in good shape. The switch, motor, and cylinders for the top are all in working order. The cylinders do leak oil and will need seals. The car does need the following: Power steering leaks at the rack (just need seal kit), exhaust (from manifold back), convertible top, complete interior. This car is ready to be flipped or customize to whatever you prefer. Once this car has a fresh paint job, convertible top, and nice wheels, it could go for a good amount of money.
