1960 Studebaker Lark VIII Barn Find Up for sale is this 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII. An incredible find. No rot or rust - floors are all solid - frame is solid with no rot. I think the pictures describe it better than I could!!! It is WELL above average. Glass is all clear all around (no milky fogged out corners , no cracks or damage) This car does not run - however it does crank / turns over but there is no spark. There is power to the coil when key is turned on, mess around with the points and this baby will run!!! This is a highly desirable color combination - Very Sexy!! The dark spots on the front seats are just shadows, they are perfect. The interior looks like you went into a time machine to 1960 showroom. The headliner, front seats, rear seats, dash, glove box - the entire interior - LIKE NEW!! The V8 engine was rebuilt 1,000 miles ago and this car has sat since 1999. I took off the valve covers and the heads look like new (see images - cork gasket stayed intact) The paint has small blemishes throughout. Tires are dry rotted (except the spare, it's fine). It has no working brakes (may need new MC) I suspect it has bad gas (clog) and no spark at this time - Engine is a period replacement 1960 V8 done right - 3 speed on the column w/OD. (OD cable needs repair) This car will run and will be a fine car when running, WELL above average - I am selling as is - no warranty or guarantees - must be picked up in NJ.
