Up for auction is a nice driver quality older restoration with a recently up dated drive train that runs and drives out great. This vehicle is a car I bought from the estate of a friends brother in law. He was a former airline mechanic with Northwest Airlines out of Minneapolis/St. Paul. His wife didn't have much in the way of details about the car, but here is what I was told and have gathered after owning and inspecting it at length. The car has a rebuilt 289 V-8 with headers, edelbrock intake and carb and Mallory Igniter. The transmission is also rebuilt and not being a Ford guy I'm not sure what trans it is. (Look at photo of tranny pan). The suspension is completely new with up graded 5 lug rims all around. The rear end is out of a Granada, and the front disc brake set up is out of a 69-70 Mustang I was told. It has a new power convertible top that works good. The interior looks to be the original in pretty decent shape. The car has new radial tires, shocks, etc. The rims are 14X6 in the front and 14X7 in the rear. The exhaust has turbo mufflers and sounds great. The radio does not work. The paint is older with some small scratches, and some paint chip off the rocker area. The car appears to have always been pretty solid with the only spot appearing to have had any work is an area right in front of the rear wheels. The floor pans and trunk are nice and don't appear to have any work. I am sure I have probably missed something, so if you have any questions I can be reached at 507-456-2957.
