Vehicle Detail
So I bought this car from my mother 5 years ago. She bought it new. This was when it was an old ladies car before it became the international homeboy mobile. I have never had someOkay iy cool guys with braids talk to me at one time in my life. I though I was cool. Nope. They just wanted to buy the car. Anyway it was in great condition. She is old and doesn't drive more than 5 miles a day. This car served me well over the years. I even drove it after I guy back into my passenger door. My girlfriend didn't like that I didn't have to open her door for her anymore. But I would usually help her through the window. See chivalry isn't dead. Anyway after years of driving it my car stop cranking. So yesterday I was at the grocery store by some vegetables ( okay it was cookies), I came back out and it wouldn't start. I did everything I could to start it. Went and got gas no luck. Finally after about an hour of everyone looking at me crazy and not wanting to helping. I guess me screaming at the car didn't help. A good Samaritan reluctantly gave me boost. His plan not to help was thwarted by me actually having jumper cables. Any who I get it to the shop today and they say oh great news the ignition switch is out and $800 should fix everything. Okay do it because that's cheaper than buying a new car and I know the history of this one. Well after wasting a beautiful Friday at the car shop they come and tell me the great news. "Oh we fixed everything else, now if you will spend $4000 for us to put a new transmission in it, it will go another 100k miles." So moral of the story don't trust mechanics. Well my loss is your gain. This car will be like new with a new transmission or you can probably make good money parting it out. Your choice. But after so many years of driving this car I have to say my time with it is done. It's like losing a family friend after 12 years but that's how it goes. Anyway I hope you buy. Good luck eBay people!
