This is a pretty nice original car that is currently non running. I bought it from a friend about a year ago and he said he had been starting it regularly but it had been running a bit off. I have only tried to start it one time (turns over just fine) and with all the hoopla I have read about the FI on these decided I wanted to put some Webers on it and be done with it. I have still not gotten around to doing really anything to the car so it is completely stock other than the square front running lights (as far as I know). As can be noted, it could use a paint job. The only real rust I found looking around the car is in the rear trunk (please see pics) which is not really very bad, certainly not all the way through. Looks like the Battery platform is rusty too and I have heard that is typical for these cars. Outside body has very small rust spots on edges where paint had been scraped over the years, again nothing major. Looks like it has had a repair on the right front door and maybe fender at some point in time. Glass seems good. Some of the blinker lenses are cracked. Tires hold air relatively speaking but I would plan on some new rubber. The dash has a little surface rust but the gauges and controls are nice. Driver seat needs a little help but interior is not too bad, missing the carpet for some reason. Car is in Garden Grove CA 92844.On May-24-15 at 13:56:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi all, Just had a nice young man over to look at the car and he noticed a few other issues. The passenger side door exterior handle does not work. That door is pretty creaky too like it needs to be lubed. Also there is some surface rust under the dash on the drivers side, similar to the rust in the rear trunk. Not through the metal but needs to be neutralized if nothing else. In general he thought the car was really good and described appropriately. Hope this helps but please come and take a look yourself if you are interested.
