Priced to sell!Has been restored inside and out. LOW MILEAGE-only 18K on this 1974 Volkswagen Bug!Engine is sound, the car is beautiful. It will turn heads at car shows or on the street.Occasionally needs to be jumped. I do not know why. I do have a new battery in it. I bought this car back when I had someone who could work on it. That person is no longer with us. The exterior was redone in a beautiful dark blue and the professional paint job is outstanding. The interior is done in a grey and dark blue that closely resembles the original materials. The headliner may be original or a replacement, but either way it is in excellent condition. Equipped with an AM/FM cassette stereo with rear window speaker but I disconnected it with one cut of the orange wire when I was trouble shooting for the reason I always had to jump it (it was NOT because the radio was draining the battery as I first thought). The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and the motor has great power with no smoke.It needs a drivers side door hinge repaired. Door does open, shut and latch without problems though.New battery, new brakes, new master cylinder all in 2014I have kept it in the garage when I am not driving it. It does not smoke, the engine has the expected power and it truly is a beautiful car. But like any older car it needs someone who knows a little something about how these older cars run. I am not that person. I have enjoyed driving her but honestly don't know why she leaves me stranded. A quick jump with jumper cables always gets her going again. Buyer responsible for picking up car and transporting/driving to your destination.
