Vehicle Detail
1970 Bronco 302 Auto PS Disc Brakes Offered for auction is an extremely clean classic Bronco that has recently received a restoration. This Bronco is an absolute joy to drive! It runs down the road super smooth and straight, and is extremely dependable. During the restoration process the Bronco was completely stripped down to the bare body shell. Body shell was completely media blasted to eradicate any rust issues. Some rust repair did have to happen even though this Bronco spent the majority of its life in Montana. The passenger and driver side front floors have been replaced. All the old sheet metal was cut out and the new panels were MIG welded in place, then sandblasted and painted with epoxy primer. The rear bed area is very solid along with the rear quarter panels seams. The front door post and kick panels are in great condition. The driver and passenger door strikers are in perfect condition. Once the body work was complete the Bronco was painted with a beautiful base/clear paint job. Engine and Transmission: The 302 V8 engine has been completely rebuilt with a dyno sheet identifying peak HP at 285 and peak torque at 342. The engine runs extremely smooth and quiet. The C4 automatic transmission shifts very smooth and tight. Frame / suspension: The frame and axles housings have been completely stripped and sandblasted then sprayed with epoxy primer then top coated with satin black chassis saver paint. The frame was very clean and straight to start with, no rust issue or previous accidents were evident. The Bronco rides on stock height springs front and rear with new shocks front and rear. Transfer-case and Drivelines: The transfer-case is a stock Dana 20, which shifts smoothly between all ranges and has no noise or leaking issues. The front lockout hubs have been rebuilt during the disc brake upgrade process along with both the front and rear drivelines. Axles: The Dana 44 front axle is fitted with 3:50 gears. New ball joints and u-joints were also installed during the restoration. The rear axle is a ford 9 inch with 3:50 gears, which has received new axle bearing and seals. Wheels / Tires: We recently updated the wheels and tires to what is currently on the Bronco. The 31x10.50 BFG all terrains have been a great addition to the Bronco. The new rims and tires have less than 300 miles on them. Steering / Brakes: The Bronco has a rebuilt OEM power steering system. The steering box and pump are extremely smooth and don’t leak any fluid. The Bronco has received new tie rods. This Bronco drives very smooth and straight with no bump steer or wandering. The brake system has been gone thru with great detail. New brake rotors, hubs, calipers, pads, disc brake proportioning valve, master cylinder and lines were installed during the restoration. The rear brakes are 10” drum brakes with new shoes, wheel cylinder and drums. This Bronco stops great! Cooling System: A new radiator, hoses, belts have been installed. The heater was disassembled and cleaned and inspected for damage. Electrical: All lights and turn signals work great! The amp, fuel, and oil pressure gauges work fantastic. The wipers and emergency flasher systems work great and the factory heater is operational. Interior / Soft trim: The OEM Bronco seats have been redone with new covers on the front and rear seats, the OEM seat tracks and frames have been sandblasted and repainted. The Bronco also has completely new carpet kit with new aluminum hold down strips. The door seals and window felting have been replaced along with the front windshield and windshield gasket. The top has also received new gaskets around the glass. The OEM seat belts are in great condition. The OEM dash pad is in outstanding condition. The OEM steering wheel has some minor cracks at the base of the wheel, and the chrome center has some pitting. Exterior Trim: This Bronco is outfitted with new chrome bumpers front and rear along with new body side molding. The lights and reflectors are new. The door locks are all functioning and locking with a key. Stuff: Currently the OEM AM radio and cigarette lighter is not functioning. There is currently not a horn or auxiliary front fuel tank installed on the Bronco. Terms: Please read this!! This Bronco is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
