The listing is for a titled 1969 Volkswagen Dune Buggy with a clear title. The mileage is in the high 90s according to the odometer. I bought this a little over a year ago from a guy on ebay who took my money and ran. So with that being said ill start off on what is new that I replaced. The pictures tell the story and shows its very clean inside and out. The body is painted Corvette Blue with a metal flake and is cleared. There is all new wiring inside and out which I did on my own along with a new 12 volt fuse panel. The interior is out of a Geo Tracker and is now installed correctly with proper seat mounting. There is a custom dash as shown in pictures. The steering stem is custom and now installed. There is new brakes and wheels bearings all the way around. All new lights and turn signals, custom brake lights. There is a new T handle shifter and bushing set. There is a brand new gas tank and lines installed. As far as the engine there is a full chrome package on it. Custom exhaust on it. The plugs, wires and new upgraded electronic distributor and coil are all new. There is now a up graded fuel pump and alternator installed. The fuel system is new meaning a new carburetor and filter set up. There is a ton of new parts on this as you can see and read and I am sure I am forgetting other parts. My lose is your gain at this point. I have now a new family adventure in my life and have to get rid of some toys. You need to checked with you local state inspection laws to see what you need to make it street legal. This can use some fine tuning with the carb, which I don't have the sync tool to make it perfect. Ask any questions and I will do my best at answering them. There is nothing hidden about this machine, like I said is need some tuning and a little more work to make it perfect. This is being sold as is but what vehicle this old wouldn't be. Things that will need to be done are as follows: Horn and seat belts, The rear reverse lights are there in the led strip and the wire is in the front of the car so you can hook this up with a switch if you so desire. The wipers are a personal preference this currently has no wipers arms but the studs and motor are in tack. The front and rear bumpers are not installed and will NOT come with it. The E Brake cables, handle and moving parts are all new but I have no clue how to adjust this to make it work properly.
