Vehicle Detail

1964 Plymouth Barracuda that needs work to be a runner. Had a bit of a hot rod makeover sometime years back and was painted white, with radiused rear wheel wells and dual exhaust. Good project to revive to Mopar glory! Was told this was a runner/driver prior to former owner parking 7 yrs ago to do floor repairs that he never got to. Looks to have all the stainless trim and emblems, except right headlamp bezel. Glass is good(nice back glass). Has rusty floors, rust areas on front frame rails, and torsion bar crossmember should be replaced. 273 V8 and push button auto. Motor turns over by hand, with newer looking spark plug wires and plugs and system still full with antifreeze, so you may be able to get it up and running fairly easily. I have not tried yet, battery in pics came with it and is junk. Has old 13" tires and original hub caps. It does roll around easily, brakes currently not working. Originally blue with blue interior. Pics of body tag and VIN tag included in this ad. Please ask any questions before bidding. Priced to sell! Clear MN title in hand, and even current MN plate registration. Have ignition keys, but have not found any door or trunk keys. See shipping and payment details. In-person inspections at my residence are available and welcome. On May-16-15 at 12:32:26 PDT, seller added the following information: 5/16/15 - Went out this afternoon and dropped a battery in and it does crank over. It did seem to kind of fire a couple of times pouring gas in the carb. I am not spending any more time on it at this point, though, as I was just killing time between paint coats on another project. Upon closer inspection it has new plugs, wires, cap, coil and points in it. Headlights, headlight dim switch, turn signals, tail lights, dash lights, dome lights all seem to work. Had the radio on for short bit and did hear some noise out of a speaker so something is working there, too. I put brake fluid in the master cylinder and the brake pedal came up and seems the brakes will work now but haven't officially tested them. I did find a receipt in the glove box from having wheel cylinders and brake lines replaced, but could not see a date on it as the print is very faded. It is a modern day computer print out type receipt, but hard to say how long ago this was done. Plenty of good points on this project, but you'll have to take the good with the bad! It will need work to be on the road again.
