This vehicle was purchased with the intent of taking it to the local mountains to be part of our vacation home and used in the mountain trails. The previous owner did most of the work to what it looks like now - He had it stored inside since he purchased it. I have owned it for a little more the two years and it has been stored indoors since I purchased it. Below is a list of the things that have been done since the jeep was converted from its original stock status. We ended up purchasing a new 2013 Four door larger Jeep Wrangler to accommodate our family size. The original tires and rims from the 2013 Jeep are what you see on this jeep now. This Jeep has two set of rims and tires. The spare original rims have mud tires and the rims on the Jeep now have all terrain tires. The vehicle runs very well and is in very good shape for its age. The front seats are black vinyl and have no visible tears or damage. The rear seat has a cover and it has a small tear, but the original vinyl its still in good condition. The original hard top was removed and it is no longer available. The jeep has a brand new Bestop soft top including the soft doors. The original metal doors will come with the jeep - The only issue with these doors is - The locks need some work. The interior latch sometimes works to open the doors from the interior, but sometimes the door needs to be opened from the out side. The issue with the original door problem is probably due to the fact that the previous owner changed all the locking mechanism to a newer more modern pieces. I think the linkages have to be properly assembled, Someone that knows how to work on this should be able to make them work properly. I believe the previous owner replaced the odometer and the original mileage should be around 135K instead of the 108K that is currently reads. The brakes work well, transmission shifts properly, and it steers strait. This Jeep has not been abused and the chassis seems to be in good condition. The jeep still has the original suspension and it has not been lifted. I have not taken off road since I purchased it. It is a six cylinder with an automatic stock transmission. The Jeep has AC, but it does not blow cold. We have spent over $9000, but it is time to let it go and move on. The new set of tires and rims is worth at least $1500 NOTE: The HARD TOP showing on the last photos DOES NOT COME WITH THE JEEP - No longer available. The photos were used to show the extra MUD Terrain tires and rims. The Mud terrain tires have the original rims which use no wheel adapters. Soft Top: The soft top is a Bestop soft top with darker rear windows to block sun light. The doors are two pieces and top piece can be removed. The top piece has a zipper window and be opened to the size of a regular window. The two rear side windows have a zipper and can be removed. The rear window also has a zipper and can be removed. Once all windows have been removed the top can be lowered down to make it a convertible top. 1) New exterior paint.2) New complete carpet kit.3) New Bestop soft top including soft doors 4) New LED light bar.5) New LED headlights and rear lights.5) New bumpers front and back & side steps.6) New winch - never been used (I am sure it works, but has not been tested).7) New radio.8) Two sets of Rims and Tires including spare) 5 Wheels & Tires on both sets.9) New all terrain tires and rims - Less than 500 miles on these tires. (Came from a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition) using wheel adapters.9) Original rims were powdered coated black with Mud tires (almost new).10) New windshield.11) Includes new bikini top still in box.12) It includes the two regular stock metal doors painted together with the jeep.13) It includes basic tow pull bar installed at Uhaul - this can be used to tow the jeep behind another vehicle.13) Ca smogged has been done - good for the next 2.5 months. Note: This vehicle runs well, but they are known for struggling to pass smog in CA, specially if the vehicle is not used regularly. The vehicle passed smog check, but it has been labeled as a Gross polluter in California. I have a pass smog certificate, but it did struggle to pass smog the first time. There is a older Jeep expert garage in Laguna Beach California "Jeeps R US' (949-497-9183) which specializes in fixing most issues and converting these jeeps to a fuel injection system. The fuel injection conversion will solve most issues with emissions in CA. The original carburetor system has just way too many vacuum hoses and full or interesting stuff.
