Vehicle Detail
Only 66k original miles. Gorgeous interior..have never seen another one like it! This classic beauty was found in a barn and according to records had been sitting for ten plus years. The color choice, classic, uncommon and with a rare racing stripe The bad ass Patina make this truck stand out! I get questions and compliments and thumbs up everywhere I drive it in its current form! People love this thing! The fuel system was cleaned, 4 barrel carburetor was rebuilt, engine compression tested, oil changed, etc, etc. She fired right up! Do not under estimate the 390 truck motor! It has a ton of torque and will get up and go! It came with tall factory gearing 3:08, and it still pulls hard! If someone were to swap out the Ford 9" gears for 3:73 or 4:10 it would be a monster. My plan was to replace the bed floor (readily available and cheap). Have a custom tow bumper made. Lower it on JDM suspension (the kit for front and back is around 900 retail), put some fat tires and rims on it, and clearcoat the exterior in Satin to preserve the original paint in all its 1975 glory. The truck starts up and runs dependably. It drives straight as an arrow. The C6 automatic shifts firm and perfect. The brakes are soft. There is no squealing or grinding so it may need a booster or just be bled. This was a disc brake truck from the factory as well as A/C. You will need an A/C pump as that is missing as well as the tailgate. I was going to run it without it as I think it would look awesome with the right bumper. Your options are endless with what you could do with this truck. For a little money you can have a great cruiser with a one of a kind look or go all the way and make it into a modern fuel injected beast. The interior on this thing is in amazing shape! Ive lost my garage for the time being. I hope a true Ford truck lover picks up this low mileage beauty and turns her into something great.
