PURCHASE TO RECEIVE:One 1970 Chevelle with LS6 "CRR" engine andSS options such as heavy duty suspension, 12 bolt rear end, and more. Note: This car has been restored to look "period correct" with attention to detail. This car decodes 450hp LS6 automatic with block pad stamping: TO427CRR 10F160024CRR engine code denotes: 1970 Chevelle 454 450 horsepower Turbo HydromaticTransmission, LS6 Special High Performance Engine Block 3968512, Dated 1970 with 4-Bolt MainsHeads 3964291 Closed chamber square port, Dated 1970Carburetor 4492 ListIntake 3963569Alternator 1100837 Distributor 1111437Deep Groove Pulleys w/ 7-Blade Clutch FanTrim tag reads TR 756 17 17 PNT05DThe car has Strato Bucket Seats, 6500 Redline Tach, Turbo 400 AutomaticTransmission, 12 bolt rear end, Power front Disc Brakes, Large diameter swaybars with heavy duty suspension and functional cowl-induction flapper hood. When we acquired the car we were not furnished any documentation such as buildsheet, protect-o-plate, or other paper work (only clear title). The car did have when we acquired it big block 454 engine, SS trim, 12 boltrear end, heavy duty suspension, etc. As stated, this is not a paperwork car and with that said, there no way toknow with absolute certainty or prove what parts or options are born to the carand what has been changed over the years. It is being sold as is for what itis, nothing further expressed or implied past what we have described in thislisting. We do not imply or express anything pertaining to what parts wereborn on the car "original" and what parts were not---We only imply or expresswhat is stated above, that is, that the car is (here and now in 2015) is a 1970Chevelle with LS6 engine and the above mentioned SS options. The title of the car reads: 1970 Chevelle SS. I have been asked for the car's VIN and if this car is numbers matching through Ebay. This is my response: "VIN is 136370F160024 I do not like term "numbers matching". No one seems to agree on what that term means. Therefore, I choose not to represent this car as "numbers matching" if you consider numbers matching to mean all parts are guaranteed to be the true original parts that were born to the car and assembled to the car by GM in 1970. I do not make this claim or guarantee! The last 6 numbers of the VIN are in the engine block front pad (TO427CRR 10F160024) on the engine block casting number 3968512, dated 1970 with 4-Bolt mains block. The engine block is dated a approximately a couple weeks before the build of the car as it would have come from GM. I am NOT saying car has original engine born engine--I am only telling you what the casting numbers, codes, and dates tell. Parts including engines are taken off these cars all the time over the decades and then later replaced with the desirable casting number dated parts--some people consider this numbers matching, and others do not consider the car numbers matching unless it has the true born parts or engine that came in the car from GM back 45 years ago. Again, the casting numbers and block stamping do decode to this car as what it should be for 1970 LS6 car and block is dated to correspond correctly to trim tag. The car also has 6500 rpm tach, 12 bolt rear dated 1970, boxed control arms, big block steering sector, active colw flapper hood, etc, etc. Thanks for taking the time to read and for your interest. Best to you!
