This may be the most well documented Chevelle on Ebay. This 2 owner 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS, was born In The Freemont California plant, having been special ordered by Roy M Trotter, from the Magini Cheverolet of Berkley Ca, and leased on June 6th, 1964.It was one of the more custom SS Chevrolet to come off the line, please see attached photos of paperwork, which includes the original Sales agreement, window sticker and more. All of which is original documentation. (The window sticker in the picture shows that some one hand wrote 283cu, that was a sales person in 1966 comparing the hp to a 283 while trying to upscale the orignal owner a 396. If you look up the L30 engine code, which is the 250hp 327. The Chevelle has a clean CA title and is on current non op with the dmv with no past due fees. He had the car custom fitted with the 250hp 327 5.3L v8, and mounted to the M20 Muncie 4 speed trans. It sits in one repainted of the original factory Goldwood yellow, available in the SS models only. Then he added an in dash tachometer, gauge package, 10 bolt posi rear end with special order 3.08 gear ratio, 2 speed wipers, dash mounted clock, suspension pkg, push button radio, heavy duty battery and much more. The original owner then paid off the Chevelle in 1966, and decided to have the dealer install the 1966 crate, dealer installed 325hp 327 that is in it now. There is tons of beautiful documentation with all his thorough notes on his companies personal letterhead. This Chevelle is a gorgeous rust free survivor, and the second owner had the foresight to save nearly every original part he removed such as the radiator, fan shroud, distributor, water pump, fuel pump, carburetor, Intake manifold, valve covers, and so on. It is missing the orignal shifter and shifter knob, and exhaust manifolds for sure. This car had been in storage for 27 years till 1996, and has had a recent tune up, with all new fluids, tires and rims, and belts and hoses, as it was driven just 9 miles in the last 9 years to one local car show. after being restored to driver/show quality. After a fresh cut and buff and polish the Gold wood Yellow paint shines beautifully, and the interior is a solid 8 of 10. She can be driven anywhere you should want to go, and be the sexiest car on the road while getting you there. At one time I was offered $40,000 for her and turned it down. Now I must part ways as I can't bear to watch her waste away down a long dirt road in the California countryside where I live now.
