Hello, up for bids is this very nice 1973 mazda rx2 four door in a very nice original blue paint.. The engine has less than 600 miles since the rebuild and The car has only been started every 2 months for the last 4 years and needs very little to be a reliable daily driver. The old weak engine that ran on points has been changed to a newer rebuilt 1984 mazda rx7 engine with electronic ignition. I wanted the car to be a daily driver so I had only minimal porting done to the inside of the engine to maintain drive ability. It's almost all stock except for exhaust headers fuel pump and fuel regulator. I really wanted to finish this car but between multiple projects and 3 knee surgeries I just am not able. The car drives great and the suspension is good and really dosent need much except a few dry rotted hoses replaced and the hood spot welded because it's seperated from the rear brace.. Nothing major.. The Car looks good and has not been really cleaned or waxed in many years. I put racing style seats that adjust to hug you when you drive the car and the seat belts still work but the original seats will be included too. Car has a 5 speed transmission and not the old 4 speed.. This little car has lots of power and can spin the wide Mickey 50 series tires easily although the car will come with a nice set of stock rx7 rims..Dash has a few cracks but that's normal ..headliner in good condition no rips glass all good and body needs little to be real nice.. Passenger side fender was sprayed over in blue but the original paint is under it so I don't know why they did it...Overall the car is very solid and has only a few small dents also coming from California it's never seen road salt so it has very little if any rust at all. Solid chassis.. .. also has an old school classic real wood steering wheel too..I have had many mazdas from rx2s to rx8s and I can tell you this car is nice still shiny and solid.
