Listed this again, serious inquires only, please read entire listing, asked questions first before committing/bidding. I added 2 more pics and better description. Up for bids is a nice 1972 Suburban, 427 Goodwrench Motor, Holly carburetor (650 double pumper?), 4 x4, lock-out hubs, automatic 400 Turbo, tilt wheel, factory tac, matching spare tire. Kenwood AM/FM Disc Stereo, (kick panel speakers and speakers under 2nd row seat), front disc brakes, PB, PS, AC front & rear. Ready to sell to big, wife doesn’t like to drive, and need to make room in my garage for our 2 cars. Runs strong, never driven hard, drives good but needs front end work listed, never drove in inclement weather, always kept in garage. This Suburban came from Georgia. I searched for about a year to purchase one that had complete good upper & lower trim, rear AC, good descent floor board/supports, had the above options especially rear air. Previous owner to my knowledge worked at a GM dealership body shop, this was his 2nd Suburban project in 2003. 1972 rear wheel drive body, placed it on a 1972 ½ ton 4 x 4 Suburban rolling chassis, axles gear ration was changed to 308’s, 427 Goodwrench motor, Turbo 400, front doors/fenders/hood/bumpers, rockers and front cab supports were all replaced (floor boards didn’t need replaced). Since I owned it has had; fluids changed (motor, axles, transfer case), joints greased (front end, drive shafts), front heater blower resister replaced, new steering stabilizer and steering column was replaced (old column was sloppy at shift lever, and indicator tip broken). Brakes inspected and serviced, new brake lines, calipers, caliper hoses. I had the front floor mating taken up due to cracking with age, didn’t have it replaced since going to sell, buyer can decide if mat or carpet. A $500.00 US dollars non refundable deposit due through paypal with-in 24 hours of auction closes or immediately if buy it now and remaining balance within 7 days after deposit and payment (cashiers check only) must clear (local credit union) before arranging pick-up. I’m flexible on pick-up times, will be kept in garage until pick-up. Clean title no leans, mileage odometer exempt. Buying as is, please read all of my feedback for descriptions. I work evenings, sleep during the day, and answer questions promptly as I can. It is only listed on eBay. I’m not one to list it elsewhere like some others due then saying the right to cancel. Good luck bidding, there is a reserve or buy it now. More details; Gutters are good. Door hinge posts are good. It was painted in 2003. It was never intended to be a show truck. These all had rust issues, it has filler and priced accordingly. If looking for one with hardly no filler, original panels or panels that have been replaced their well over $10,000.00. As for highway driving take into account it’s been lifted, tire size 35 x 12.50 R15 and needs front end work listed. Tires are BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A, back tires are good. It was never driven hard. Seats are in good/average condition, door panels the same. Tried to contact previous owner about questions asked or if I could forward his number. My intentions if I kept it were; put carpet down, eventually have it repainted using no panels just filler, rear hatch/tailgate latch fixed, and front end work/alignment. AC recharged. Go to a different tire size not so aggressive.
