1940 Ford Coupe, mostly original. This car has had one repaint and a upholstery job back in the 70's. This is a clean old original car and has not been restored. Paint is old and has cracks and blemishes. Very solid body and good running driving car, engine does not smoke and runs strong, transmission shifts fine. Car was purchased in Mt. Airey NC and based on the leaf springs that were in the car, it may have been a moonshine car. It had extra springs leaves front and rear. Car is rust free after some minor patches on the front floor/underseat area only. Minor modifications include, 12V system with all new wiring,wipers, bright headlights, MSD 6A digital ignition, MSD wires and MSD distributor, 12V alternator that looks like a generator, Rochester 2GC carb/adapter, Fenton cast iron headers with dual Smithy's, big/little BFG tires on 15" truck rims. New glass, windshield is grey tint. New bumpers, hubcaps, all stainless is good. Posies Super Slide springs front and rear with new shackles. Disc brakes on front with original 5 1/2" pattern. Dual Mustang master cylinder. Bottom and inside floors were cleaned and coated with bedliner material. The interior floor, firewall, trunk is covered in acoustic sound deadener. Custom auto sound stereo, Vintage Air heater, rebuilt shift linkage. Some other new parts included. I have orignal carb, generator, front brakes, etc that will be part of the deal.
