1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am was going to restore but have to many projects. I have the original 301 block and heads along with Pontiac 400 block and heads that was going to be rebuild for this project. This is an automatic 350 transmission car with 10-bolt posi rear axle with front and rear sway bars. Trans-Am has solid floors and look in great condition except for the rear panel where the rear bumper bolts to the body. I removed the front body panels but have every item pulled off the car and all bolts put in baggies and labeled. There some extra parts that was taken off another 1979 Trans-Am for this project. Note the driver bottom door pillar pushed in from when loaded onto trailer when I received car. The pillar may be pushed out or replace. I have replacement piece taken from the 1979 donor Trans-Am included if needed. The numbers matching 301v8 included along with Pontiac 400 engine date code December 14th 1972 an 0L1420 D0N block front C123349 Y4 block casting side 481988. Heads casting 46 6M12 define as 1973 heads. Engine was rebuilt and then sat for period time. Moisture got into cylinder 5, 6, 7, and 8 either a hone or bored .40 over will fix. Was rebuilt and bore .030 over has no ring wear on block. .030 forged pistons will be sold on another auction. Local pick up or Can ship freight but purchaser makes all arrangements.
