Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE A clean, fit 1987 Suzuki Samurai with a 1996 VW 1.6 Turbo Diesel Engine swap. She’s a real beaut with a clean paint job and minimal sun damage. No back-seat, but one can be added, otherwise this is a 2-seater that will run down Jeeps on the highway while stock Samurai’s are left putting along with the golf carts. I have moved to another country and the customs office won’t let me bring her with me, so it’s time to say goodbye and send her to someone who can give her the love and appreciation she deserves. Before I moved, I was sure to make a lot of mods hoping to one day take this rig to Moab, but never got the chance. She has been parked for the great majority of the last 4 years, only occasionally driven around the block to make sure everything is still in running order. Here’s a list of all the beauty enhancements to her: Custom steel roll cage Custom rock sliders Custom bumper Winch Jeep springs lift kit from Rocky Road Transmission and drive shaft recently replaced Storage box (fits in the empty back seat) CD player Anti-theft system Recently replaced battery with 5-year warranty K&N Air Filter Extras Sexy bikini top Full car cover for idle storage 33’’ off-road tires (moderately used) with stock Samurai rims Spare set of Samurai leaf springs Speakers (haven’t had the time to install these) Spare engine hood Samurai and VW repair manuals Liquids New owner will be provided with a bottle of diesel additive that has been added with every fill-up. Vehicle has run on Accelerated Oil for the past 4 years. Worth researching this oil for this rig and for all of your other vehicles. IssuesOil pan has a minor leak. This is because after the engine swap it was driven for several months without a lift kit, so the axel would bump the oil pan when taking bumps in the road. The vehicle has since been lifted (see above) and does not bump anymore, but the leak remains. I am not mechanically talented enough to repair or swap oil pans, sorry!
