I have owned this 70 since 2005, all the work on this 70 was using all new parts MOTOR-cast iron block 498 strocker , I beam rods , 9.5 to 1 compression pistions , .678 life/288 dur. solid roller cam , Edelbrock aluminum heads & air gap intake manifold , Hooker shorty headers (ceramic coated) , 7 qt. Moroso oil pan , Mallory HyFire ign.-dist.-coil , Holley Street Avenger 870 cfm carb.TRANS - 700R, ceramic clutches , perf. valve body , 2400 rpm toqure convertor , track ready drive shaft with loopREAR AXLE - 9" Ford ,Richman 411 gears , Auburn posi unit , Currie axlesBRAKES - Wilwood dual calapers on the front, Ford 12" rear drums on the rear , with a Wilwood 1 1/4" master cyl.. All the bearings , seals , bushing, etc. in the front suspension & rear end are new, new 1 1/2" front & 1"rear Hotchkis sway bars , rear coil springs with AirLift air rideThe Mallory ign. system includes an adjustable rpm limited & adjustable launch control, also has a Holley line lockGauges are Auto Meter Phantom - 5" tach w/ adjustable shift light - oil press. - water temp. - voltage . Under the hood is liquid filled - oil press. - water temp. - fuel pres.
