1986 Honda Rebel 450 in very clean condition.Fresh tune up(oil,filter,air filter,plugs) and carbs were cleaned.It also has a new petcock which is NOT vacuum feed,it is gravity feed so you have to shut it off when not in use.The previous owner got this bike for his wife to learn on and I'm GUESSING she might have tipped it on it's right side or got a little too close to a wall or something because there is a scrape on the right muffler.I'm guessing the handlebars got bent too because it has different handlebars which are a little wider and shaped different than original ones and the new choke cable he put on is a "little" snug when turning very sharp right only, but works as it should. I don't know how to change the cable or handlebars and the shops want more than I'm willing to spend(I have alot into this bike already). I did manage to cut off the old grips and put on new ones that look better than the old ones & I did bring it in to have a new Pirrelli Route 66 front tire put on.It should have the rear tire replaced soon also.They were the original tires so there was alot of weather checking. This would be the perfect bike for someone looking for an easy fix if you have a little mechanical ability.It would also be a good Bobber candidate because it runs and starts great.Just putting some shorter bars on would make the cable fit or just change the cable if your mechanically able.I'd love to keep it but I can't do it myself and shop fee's around here are just too high.
