1996 Volvo 850 R Up for auction is a 1996 Volvo 850 R. The Volvo 850 R was the fastest production car of its time with a 5-cylinder, turbocharged DOHC engine. Unfortunately, this car was recently involved in an accident damaging the hood, grill, radiator, core support, right front fender and bumper, air bags and windshield. However, the frame still seems to be ok. The drive train is in excellent condition and it starts right up. Before the accident, the cylinder head had been milled and the valves were redone. The timing belt and water pump were both recently replaced. There are 2 brand new rear tires and a new alternator. It also has new brakes, rotors and calipers. The interior is still in great shape as well. The body is solid and there doesn’t appear to be any rust. It also has the factory R type rims. This would make an excellent parts car or could possibly be repaired. The car is sold as is, please ask questions before bidding.
