This 9 passenger station wagon was purchased new in 1963 from the San Luis Obispo, CA Chevrolet Company. I am the original owner. The condition of the car is what I would describe as worthy of restoration, in a #3 condition. It has had the hood, grill, and the passenger's side fender replaced as the car was in an small accident in the eighties. However, the repair work was very good. In the middle 70's the 327 engine was replaced with a new one, so the car does not have the original engine. It needs the headliner replaced, but the front seat was reupholstered with a soft grey fabric in the 80's. The middle seat and rear seat both have the original seat material and are still in acceptable condition as the middle seat was always covered with a plastic seat cover and the rear seat was only on occasion used. The well for the rear seat has been patched due to a rust hole. The padded dash needs replaced. The car has some rust but not very much. The rear window is electrically operated and the window is at present out of its channels, but it is still in good condition. It has factory air conditioning, but does not work now. The car was last driven in December of 1990, and it has been stored under a shed since that time. It has a cooling device for the transmission as the car pulled a small travel trailer for a time. It also has a hook-up for the trailer's electric brakes. There are no missing parts but some trim is 1964, and a couple of taillight lenses are Impala.
