*1982 Honda 250-R ATC* This was my dad's, he bought it in 1981 and used it very little. It was put in storage for over 25 years and we had forgotten about it. It's been in a barn for a few decades, covered. My father has since passed and we kind of just rediscovered it. We pulled it out, cleaned the carb and changed the gear lube in the crank case. It fired up first kick! It still runs like a top. I really hate to part with it, but I have lost the space to store it now. It will need a new front tire. The seat is bad and needs to be replaced. I had duct taped it to hold it together. The front brakes work but should have new pads. The rear brake needs to be rebuilt. Also, the clutch cable needs to be replaced - you have to shift it without using the clutch. The headlight works and the tail light just needs a bulb. The machine has a lot of power with not many hours. It is pretty much original, aside from the muffler. It just needs the brakes, the tire, and the clutch cable/clutch repaired. It was manufactured on Sept, 1981. It is a 1982 model year. It has a guard for the master cylinder and headlight. Original metal tank has a small dent in it that would probably be easy to pop out.
