Vehicle Detail

REPOST, bid was retracted due to an extenuating circumstances with buyer! Bidding period will only be 3 days! Thank you for the interest! 1955 VW Oval Type 1 in great condition produced in April of 1955, matching chassis and front trunk plate numbers. VW is clean and ready to drive with clear title! 1500cc engine with letter code beginning with H0, Solex H30/31 carburetor with a K&N filter. The transmission was recently rebuilt and does not pop out of gear and also has the push down reverse feature. The front axle has been rebuilt, has new master brake cylinder and brake lines, new drum brake cylinders and shoes. This VW is mechanically and electrically in great working condition, also converted to 12V. Inside dome light works and odometer lights also work, also has a horn. Wipers and odometer also work, and knob switches are functional. The headliner is in good condition, with little damage to the right side near passenger door. The interior is perfect with beige carpet and smooth vinyl beige seat and green trim. Also has a bambus tray, and original roller pedal. Cosmetically, it’s in good condition! The vehicle is colored matched to original color "Jungle Green" (L315), the body is straight and has no bondo! No waves on the metal and the doors shut firmly. The car has original egg light taillights and original deck lid with "W". The front end has slight damage, has bump on the front hood. The damage is due to a vehicle rolling back very slowly and bumping the hood and front bumper. This VW is garage kept and has been really well taken care of for over 13 years. The vehicle has no major rust or holes in the panels, but does have slight surface rust due to weathering on exterior. The exterior has a few scratches and slight imperfections that can also be easily repaired. This car is well worth collector car market value, with some work this car can easily be doubled in value. Vehicle also includes a roof rack with clamps, Coleman thermo, VW book, car cover, and canvas bag. Buyer is responsible for shipping, I can assist with delivering vehicle within a 50 mile radius or with loading vehicle onto shipping carrier . Vehicle is sold as is! Good luck bidding!
