heres a fully resto-modded 79 honda cr250.nothing on this bike has been skipped over.from the powder coated frame to the rear dimples that r done to accomadate fox air shock installation..bike has only a few brake in hours trail riding at hollister to seat the rings and everything else.now.clear California title in hand registered green sticker thru 2016. ALSO,the bike will not be parted out as some have asked.its sold as a package ONLY. motor, fully rebuilt with all new bearings,very little side play crank,.012,perfect,,perfect gears,perfect clutch,has NOS aluminum carrier!!,excellant cage,barnett steels and fibers,NOS clutch case cover!!.sleeved cylinder,70.20 bore.wiseco piston and ring combo,.many more bores left if nesacary..no pitting in combustion chamber.E-CDI unit.all new o-rings in rebuilt original carb.all jett tuning done already.was run at 32.1 ratio during breakin,could go much lighter on oil but wanted to make sure it was welled lubed. cases r perfect,with original paint.only the cylinder/cdi cover and head have beened painted.only 1 small ding in repainted exhaust pipe in front otherwise perfect.with a JR answer aluminum silencer/spark arrestor that has been repacked.no dents in it either, very fast. and now the rest, new excel wheels professionally laced with buchanon spokes to powder coated hubs.same color as original with all new bearing and seals in both wheels with new brake shoes.new tires,,front 100%,,rear 95% after breakin in ride at hollister,,u would not want to buy a bike not tested..NOS clutch cable and throttle cable. KLP manf lowering block for lower chain roller(so as to not hit swingarm),,custom rear brake rod with matching hardware..very nice. new aluminum swingarm same lenght as the 1980 unit.with new bearings of course.gold chain,,14/53 sprockets,rear is original honda 53t unit. rebuilt 17.5"fox gas shocks,,new seals/wipers/bumpers,and repainted.beatiful.much rarer than fox airs.as new. front forks r off of a 83 cr480,,started with good cores and had them professionally rebuilt with new springs and the addition of cartridge emulators,with 83 triples that have new bearings also.,very nice.every bearing on this bike has been replaced,including ALL bearings in motor. 79 seat has been recovered with a non slip cover,,when u get on it u wont have to worry about sliding off the back when the power hits!!original seat foam,,much better than aftermarket units.when riding with this suspension/seat combo its like sitting in a lazy boy.very comfy! moto x fox style air cleaner support ring.greatly strenghtens original air box,covers a few small cracks that no one will see.has an upgraded twin air filter element.new.aluminum fox style head stay bracket.wide aftermarket footpegs.. VMX racing F/R fenders..very nice.original side covers,,dont like the way after market side covers fit.. original paint gas tank,no dents,some small dings here and there and small scratches but overall a very nice unit.u would have to look very close to see them..repainted tanks scratch very easily, and they don't match original colors..with aluminum gas cap,,very nice . original honda new clutch and front brake levers,side pull throttle,new crossbar pad.perfect high rise bars same as what came with it. all bolts were either cleaned and clear coated or replaced. as u can see there was alot of work and time and money put into this bike,,u cannot do better than with this bike,its ready for racing/casual riding/bike shows/or the man cave or whatever..when i bought 1 of these new in 78 i was its master but that was many moons ago.now its way too much bike for me..anyway there has been so much done well,u get the idea from this list..this bike is gauranteed to please..bid with confidence.no better bike for sale anywhere...see all pics. pick up ONLY,u arrange the shipping,,..all shipping is on the buyer,,there r companies out there that will go across country for around 300.00..let goggle be your friend there. paypal preffered here on ebay..pay with cash or use your credit card.payal..cant get any easier than that,,,funds must clear paypal before it ships...usually 3-5 business days.cash upon pick up ONLY...no exceptions...got it?.good.happy buying..a great bike ready to go from a by gone era..when I bought my 78 bike new,it was no where near as good as this guy is with the suspension upgrades,this bike is virtually new,only a lot better...........
