Vehicle Detail

TRUE 1967 Pontiac Lemans 2 door hardtop. Matching 326-V8 motor automatic and sought after center console and wood grain dash. 73,000 original documented miles!! Really don't want to sell this American Classic but future gift for dad not wanted now. Who wants an original, running, and documented car? Original motor running, shifting, and stops on a dime on time. A great gem that I got running after sitting for about 18 years. You won't find this often: Original build sheet recovered from rear seat and numbers match door VIN and cowl tag. Not a coupe but true hardtop which is worth more. Needs metal work, especially in trunk and rear quarter panel but expected for a 47 year old car. Replacement panels under $200 on Ebay.  Please don't think this is a perfect unrestored car but you have option of enjoying as it is and slot restoring metal work to your taste. Car currently VA registered and tagged. Clean title in my name I'm seeking the true classic car collector who values pedigree. This car has the original VIN plates at the door and engine cowl that decodes properly as: Original Montero Red (code R2) paint with black vinyl top Original black leather interior (code 223) Original console car (code G) VIN decodes as follows: 237177B110836 2 = Pontiac 37 = Lemans 17 = 2 door hardtop 7 = 1967 B = Baltimore built 1 = V8 engine 10836 = 10,836 produced I purchased car after it was sitting in a farm for over 18 years untouched, a true barn find. I spent the time and money to get it running so now the original motor is properly running, original transmission shifting, and car is stopping on a dime! Mechanical work completed includes full tune up: oil and filter change, fluids filled, new spark plugs, new front and rear brakes, new front and rear wheel cyls, new master cyl, new fuel pump, new gas tank, sending unit, and straps, new fuel lines, new steering wheel wiring harness, new distributor cap, points, and rotor, new ignition coil, new hood hinges, new trunk latch, new brake switch, new signal bulbs, new turn signal lever, newer tires etc. As this is an original 47 year old classic, I didn't get to address the body yet, however, you have an original art canvass to work with, no surprises, car is complete. Lemans is overall, very straight body but will need some metal work, especially need to replace entire trunk floor pan (but I was able to install new gas tank just fine), lower rear quarter panel, and possibly some of the front frame rail . Frame looks good but again, any exterior or frame components or replacement panels typically sell for under $200 on Ebay.  Car currently VA registered, tagged, insured by Hagerty, and clean title in my name, no games Please inspect car yourself as I've described car as best as I can. Call Leo 562-843-2839 to view car near Alexandria, VA. Can arrange shipping at your expense. Bottom line is a documented and running classic that can be enjoyed now or total restoration candidate.
