1929 Ford Model A ( Murray) 4-Door Sedan 25 years ago a complete off frame restoration was done by my father and the car was garage kept. The car was original and complete from California prior to the restoration and refinished in nickle instead of chrome. 6 years ago it was repainted with a lighter shade of maroon and the exterior hardware refinished in chrome. When my father passed away, the car was moved outside and left uncovered for the last 5 years. I haven't seen the car in person since being moved outside, as I live in Georgia. As such, I am unsure of the extent of weather damage. There appears to be some slight leakage into the interior so it may need to be cleaned or reupholstered. Exterior finish is lacquer which is oxidized, it may rub out though most likely it will need to be refinished. The engine and transmission has 390 miles since the original restoration and were completely rebuilt. The car will start and run but with the amount of time it has been sitting it will need carburetor and gas tank cleaned to run properly.
