Hi, I am selling this great classic Merc-Benz for a friend of mine so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask and I'll get the answers back to you. This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL is a convertible with the removable hardtop and a soft top stashed under the rear boot. I have not seen the soft top nor have I ever removed the hardtop but I believe that it should be in decent condition by judging how good the condition of the interior is. The Benz has it's original V-8 engine that runs good and the automatic transmission shifts good also. There isn't any leaks under the car and there is NO Rust out under the car either. The paint is original and looks good and the body is good and straight with NO wreck damage to any panels. The interior is in good decent shape with heavy bolster wear on the drivers side leather seat and some small heat cracks on the dash pad { please see the pictures }. Everything seems to work on the car including the air conditioning, windows, interior lights, locks, ect. but there is a headlight shot on high beam on the passenger side. The Benz has all the owner's manual and paperwork and also has the hardtop removing wrenches still in a plastic pouch. The miles I think are low at 123,216 although it will go up for we are driving it around some. This car has been well taken care of since new but the last owner has let it sit for some time. When the present owner first bought the car he had the front brakes and calipers redone for they were sticking on the car from sitting up. The present owner has no desire to keep the car so I have placed a LOW reserve on this Benz and once the reserve has been met, the high bidder will win it. The car comes with a clean clear title for the new owner. All items are sold as is, where is. All shipping arrangements is the buyer's responsibility but I don't mind working with your shipper to get the car loaded up. Cash payment and pickup of vehicle is expected within 7 days of auction close. Cash in hand, in person is expected within 7 days of auction close.
