For sale is a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan 2 door coupe.The car is in driving condition. Engine starts and the vehicle shifts and brakes. Transmission shifts as it should trough all 3 speeds. It was converted to 12 Volt.This Coup was restored many years ago and had some chrome and trim replated. All trim and bright work is there (trunk lid handle is there but not attached).The body has some rust spots typical for the model (under tail light and rockers, hood lip and some in the trunk floor) but it is absolutely savable by someone with medium rated worship skills.The interior pieces are all there (driver door panel out of the car with all inner window frames present as well). Horn button is stored safely with all other parts off the car that come with the purchase.The only thing that's needed is the straight door glass (straight can be cut to fit), the window lifters are there as well. This project can go 3 ways: 1st as an to original spec restoration, 2nd as a cool Custom car, 3rd as a "drive it as is" rat rod and "fix what needs attention whenever i feel like" kinda deal.Please realize this is a rare car (in 2 door ever more so) you can get suspension, engine and brake parts for it and there is numerous clubs and enthusiasts out there ready to help for the Kaisers enthusiast!
