The person who bid and won the auction never paid. HIS LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. This is a 1972 1/2 triumph Bonneville 650 with a 5 speed. If you know the history of OIF triumphs you should know why the 1/2 is important. My brother and I found this bike in Georgia on a trip about 20 years ago and restored it. It is an older restoration but it's a rider. We ride our bikes and maintain them. THIS IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN. This bike is a blast to ride. I hate to sell it but it's time. I can only ride one at a time. As I said its an older restoration. the paint is a nice white pearl finish and the air filter covers and chain guard are black. The racing stripes are the old taped on kind. The frame is a little oily and dusty but it is a rider. One of the fins on the engine has a small piece missing. The turn signals are off the bike but the controls are still there. The horn works, the passing light works, the kill switch works. The rear fender has a little ding in it. It does not have electronic ignition. Tickle the carbs and it will kick over on the 1st to third kick. the miles are the Original miles on the bike. the wires from the controls are taped up real nice. There is some rust on the rims and spokes in the usual spots and there is a spoke or two missing. The bungee cords on the seat are for carrying items not to hold seat down. Seat does close and the latch works. I have actually won awards at legitimate car & bike shows with this bike. I AM SELLING THIS BIKE AS IS. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY COSTS.
