This is the Classic and rare MGTD. Its long been considered one of the best Post War MGs. This example is a very original 56,000 mile car that has been pampered and never abused. It has never been fully restored, yet remains in excellent condition. If you are looking for one of the best original post war MG T series cars in excellent condition, This is an almost unrepeatable opportunity. The MGTD was the car that started the British Roadster boom in the early post war years. Most were ordered by customers intent on weekend racing and many of these cars led a tough life. This car was only used sparingly in its early life, and never abused. Its finished in classic Old English WHite with red interior. Cosmetically, it is still in very good condition with only light wear from use. The original leather seats have a beautiful patina. Its like a fine piece of antique furniture, and one of the best parts of the car in my opinion. Recently it has benifited from a mechanical referbishment by a local British car specialist that included a full brake rebuild, Carbs rebuilt, fuel system flush and more.
