Up for auction is a 1972 Chevelle SS clone. 454/400 .with factory disc brakes and F41 suspension. this car can either be considered a running project, that needs very little to be drivable, or very good start to a restoration. I got this car as a rolling shell, I installed the motor and trans, got it running, that was as far as I got before winter. For this car to move on its own power, very minimal work is needed. (Install shifter linkage, P.S. pump, clutch fan. these parts are included) But before considering the car road worthy of course the buyer should check and test all systems including brakes, charging system, etc. I would say this car is 99% complete with a few minor this missing like fan shroud,radio,nuts bolts screws etc. : Body has usual dings dents and rust common on a 43 year old car. All body panels are useable or fixable depending on the level of restoration you want to achieve. Quarter panels have been repaired with welded patch panels, but need to be re-sanded, filled, and finished. Factory cowl hood has some rust and a fixable dent. An extra cowl hood is included its pretty straight, but has some rust. Fenders are good passenger side has small hole just starting. Doors, and decklid have some rust but no major holes or dents. Trunk floor has rust and some holes but again may be usable depending on the level of restoration you want to achieve. Floor pan will need a patch under front drivers seat, patch panel is included. Two patches will be needed under rear seat in both corners where wheelhouse and floor meet. May not need a full panel if two corners are fabricated. Interior Front seat is good with small tear on side bolster of drivers side. Rear seat is very good. Door panels good condition, slightly wavy. Headliner intact no tears. Dash, radio section has been has been cut,has small missing piece near dash pad. Dash pad good but not fastened or secured. Engine is a Stock 1974 or 1975 454 truck engine. runs good but needs to be correctly timed and adjusted. has new starter, water pump, fuel pump, motor mounts. Transmission is a turbo 400 that has new seals and converter was flushed and refilled. Need minor things This vehicle is sold"AS IS" with no warranty or guarantee .
