Vehicle Detail
PRICE REDUCED 1997 Chevy S10 Extended Cab 2 wheel drive 4.3 liter Vortec V6 Automatic transmission I get 23+ MPG on the highway! Winterforce snow tires installed on steel wheels The Winterforce snow tires are in excellent condition with less than 5,000 miles on them I also have the original factory Rally wheels with the hub caps (I don't have the pics of the hub caps) with new Guardsman tires This truck is GREAT in the snow I am faster than most four wheel drive vehicles! It is my daily driver 90,400 miles Century fiberglass cap installed This cap is over $1800! Both sides open including the rear The cap has locking windows (YES I have the keys) and the window that meets the truck cab slides and also folds in It is a very high quality top and also has provisions to put a ladder rack on! I believe this cap is the High C CF Series from Century Caps The truck has the Z85 HEAVY DUTY SUSPENSION option It has a bedliner and a Lund front air dam. Non smoker, all books and records and 3 keys Brand new drive shaft This is a complete drive shaft not a partial and it is the type of drive shaft that has the easily replaceable universal joints Not the original problematic OEM drive shaft where you could not replace the U joints It has very cold air conditioning Manual crank windows and manual door locks (less to break) I installed a Pioneer Super Tuner CD player with AM/FM I bought this truck from the original owner in 2005 with 29,000 miles I sold it to my father-in-law in 2006 I recently bought it back from him but I need a full size truck that can tow a large trailer I just washed the truck and took the pictures It was very cold out and ice was forming on the surface so it makes some of the pics look like something is wrong with the paint Nothing is wrong with the paint It is ice on the surface This is a great truck and the only problem I know of is the fuel gauge is inaccurate but I refill it every 300 miles and all is well There is also a small dent in the lower drivers door that just happened when parking to visit my Mom It looks like it could easily be popped out if the door panel was removed Some other dings and scratches but the truck looks very nice This truck starts in the extreme cold and is ready to go cross country right now I am located close to the Jane Adams tollway (90 Rockford) at the Barrington Rd. exit in Schaumburg IL 60194
