1957 DKW/Austin Healey (ex-racecar),custom re-bodied classic big Healey lines with a twist. The chassis/frame is square tube steel,body is glas-fibre.tub -cockpit floors/firewall aluminum.The car was raced at somepoint as it has the remains of a 4 point cage and 2 point rear hoop at parcel shelf. Engine-Chevrolet 350 ci small block,mild cam,new Edelbrock 4bbl carb. with electric choke,new manual fuel pump,new temp sender. Transmission-GM-automatic 3 speed Cheetah quick shifter,added oil cooler and reservoir before radiator,mated to 9 inch rear end. Brakes/Suspension-Ford front discs with new calipers,rear drum brakes with new American shifter E brake.Coils forward rear leaf springs. She has NEW: wind-wings, sport mirrors,Autometer temp guage,2-group 24 wet cell battery bank in boxes with new cutoff switches on terminals,seatbelts,panel switches and relays,Ebrake welded mount,Sony 200watt CD and Dual 400watt amp and wiring harness,speaker box.ABC fire extinguisher,front brake calipers,wipermotor,coolant hoses,12V vintage horn and switch,buss fuses,carpet and sound deadening matt.,4-front hood keyed locks. Grant GT racing wheel. In addition: Fuel cell is poly with 20 gallon capacity, there is a serviceable soft vinyl top w. rear window and sunroof panel-no side curtains or two bow frame.There is a box heater/fan that is un-installed. The body is in good condition overall but has a few areas that need a little attention,primarily from low profile of front and rear low aprons. The car has a straight plexi glass windscreen (for weight),staggered Weld racing wheels with Cooper Cobra tires and tilt steering .Custom fabbed white sidepipes-unbaffled.sound GREAT ! All the lights work-brakes,driving-hi/low beams,emergency flashers.
