I have for sale my 1985 cr 500. This bike is all original. Bought from the original owner who had it in storage for 20 years. All fluids were drained and the water pump housing was taken off to check for corrosion which all these bikes where prone for. Minimal corrosion due to owner draining fluids prior to storage. Housing was cleaned and new water pump propeller and seal was installed. Casing looked great so I jb welded any pitting I saw. Motor runs perfect with tons of torque. Top end got a new weisco piston and rings. Crank was great with no play and bearings were good. Motor fires right up and idles perfect. Jug is stock bore. Stock reeds. Transmission shifts smooth threw all gears. New wheel bearings, brakes, chain sliders, chain and front fork seals. Radiators where flushed and fresh fluid installed. Bike is ready to ride and enjoy. Plastic is all original with no cracks or holes. Wheels have no dents, cracks or welds. Tires have 95% tread. Bike runs perfect and will pull the front wheel off the ground 5 feet in every gear. Old skool dirt bike that has been taken care of and enjoyed. Small tear in back of seat cover. Small dent in exhaust. Awesome bike you can ride and eat 4 strokes! I will sell world wide.
